The Gabonese singer with a bantu soul voice is back with “Kaba”, her second album recorded between Accra, Berlin and Paris. After learning and evolving alongside Salif Keita, Oumou Sangaré or Cheick Tidiane Seck … Pamela Badjogo now signs her musical identity : a bubbling cocktail mixing Afro-pop, Bantu-style highlife and Afrobeat which immerses us in the effervescence of the restless nights of Central Africa. Kwame Yeboah, multi-instrumentalist and architect of the albums of the iconic Ghanaian highlife singer Pat Thomas, he did Kaba, the new album of the charismatic singer is part of the current trend with her catchy pop melodies.
